11th “Read it Again!” Cambridgeshire Children’s Picture Book Award

The winner of the 11^th “Read it Again!” Cambridgeshire Children’s Picture Book Award is “Super Happy Magic Forest” by Matty Long [published by OUP]

 “Read it Again!” is an annual award for a debut picture book where the words and pictures are the work of one individual. The winner is chosen entirely by children in Cambridgeshire schools.

 This year, over 12,500 children from 72 Cambridgeshire schools read, discussed and then voted for their favourite book from a shortlist of 8 outstanding titles.

 Matty received his award from last year’s winner Simona Ciraolo at a special presentation event at Thomas Clarkson Academy in Wisbech in front of an audience of @ 200 children from seven local schools.
