The fifth Philippa Pearce Memorial Lecture will be held at Homerton College, Cambridge on 6th September, 2012. Malorie Blackman will deliver the lecture and has chosen to speak about
21st Century Storytelling: Will the advent of new technology create a paradigm shift in the writing and reading of children's literature?

PHILIPPA PEARCE died in 2006, but respect and affection for her writing is as strong as ever. In her memory, a series of lectures is now underway, each intended to celebrate excellence in writing for children and to emphasize its continuing vital importance.
